All About Roof Tile Paint
Using a reliable roof tile paint can give your home's roof a whole new look. It does not matter if you have roof tiles made of slate, shingles, concrete or clay, this DIY project allows you to change the color and texture of your existing roof to better suit your needs and budget.
Many people feel that painting is an act of making art and painting your roof can be no different. By working with the various coatings and spraying your desired paint onto your roof, you can create a stunning home that has people talking and imitating it for miles around.
There is a large variety of different paints that you can use to renovate your current roof. You can use Dulux paint, acrylic paint, or Rustoleum Dac-Hydro paint to name just a few of the many choices that you will be faced with when you are trying to decide which to use.
It is a good idea to determine if you have any special climate issues in your area that would make one type of paint more desirable to use on your roof than another. For example, if you live in a climate that is particularly hot and dry, you will likely need a type of paint that can withstand peeling and flaking over a long period of time. While you could certainly use a brush or a roller when you are painting your roof diy style, the quickest way to ensure an even coating of paint on all of the available surfaces is by spraying the paint on to the roof. By using a sprayer, you can apply an even coat of paint in the color of your choice. Regardless of the type of color of paint you buy, you will want to plan on applying a first coat and then letting that dry thoroughly. You will then want to plan to apply at least one more coat of paint so that your roof is able to get the best protection from the roof tile paint that you have chosen to use. In doing so, you can ensure that your roof will work as great as it looks.

[READ FULL ARTICLE] Built Up Roofing OptionsBy Andrew Carnigie The flat, built up roof is becoming popular, especially on large applications because of its cost. Flat roofs are simple both to construct and to finish of with waterproofing. They are popular in warm areas. A flat roof is not a good choice in areas with large snowfall because the snow will just accumulate on the roof and not shed like a sloped roof. Pooled water from leaking snow causes water damage, and too much snow weight may cause the roof to fail. [READ FULL ARTICLE]
